Effect of CaC2 and vitamin B12 on liver tissues from mice. Vitamin B12 was given to assess extent of protection against CaC2 exposure. Liver and kidney tissues from Control group (a), CaC2 group (b), and CaC2-Vitamin B12 group (c) were processed for histology with H&E staining. Images show representative liver sections with the hepatocyte necrosis (CV-Central vein, arrows indicated diffuse hepatocyte swelling and necrosis and stars are focal areas of hemorrhages in Liver parenchyma).
