Expression of the TJ regulators in Lm + Pt treated SD rats. After the total RNA preparation, the transcript levels of occludin, ZO-1, claudin-1 and claudin-4 genes were determined by RT-qPCR analyses. The relative level of each transcript was determined based on the level of β-actin. The total RNA extracts were prepared from four to six rats per group, and RT-qPCR analyses for each sample was analyzed in duplicate. All values in results are represented as the means ± standard deviation (SD). *Indicated statically significance compared to the No treated SD rats, while # indicated statically significance compared to the Lm + Vehicle treated SD rats.
