Histopathological changes in H&E and PAS stained kidney tissue. A-C H&E, D-I PAS and A, D, G CON group, B, E, H VAN group, C, F, I GEB group. In H&E stained, CON group was showed a normal structure of the kidney. In contrast, the VAN group was showed remarkable damage of kidney, such as tubular dilation (arrow head), tubular cell desquamation (thin arrow), tubular vacuolation (*), interstitial inflammation (arrow). The GEB group was ameliorated these damages than VAN group. In PAS stained, The CON group was showed a normal basement membrane of the tubule and normal brush border (thin arrow) in proximal tubule. In contrast, the VAN group was showed the thinned the basement membrane of the tubule and loss of the brush border (arrow head) in proximal tubule.
