IL-4C enhances CD8 T cell accumulation and CXCR3 and Eomes expression in CD8 T cells. On day 5 after influenza infection, lymphocytes were harvested from the lungs, peribronchial lymph nodes (LNs), and spleens, and CD8 T cells were analyzed via flow cytometry. Total (A) and CD44hi memory-phenotype (B) CD8 T cell numbers were counted. The results are the means ± SDs (n = 15/group); the x-numbers indicate fold changes. The percentage of CXCR3+ CD8 cells (C) and the mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) of Eomes expression in CD8 T cells (D).
